ATTLEBORO - A former mental health supervisor at the Judge Rotenberg Center in Norton was sentenced to jail Wednesday after pleading guilty in Attleboro District Court to indecently assaulting a fellow employee at the center.

Ellison Livingstone, 24, of Providence, was sentenced to 18 months in jail by Judge Gregory L. Phillips.

Livingstone has been in jail since his arrest in April and was given credit for the time he has been in jail on bail.

Livingstone was initially also charged with raping the woman but the charge was dismissed at the request of the prosecution.

Assistant District Attorney Derek Coyne said the victim agreed to the disposition of the case which both sides recommended to the judge. The occurred April 2 in a bathroom at the Rotenberg Center on Shelly Road.

Livingstone is a Liberian native with no criminal record. He has a wife in Liberia and is in the United States under refugee status because of strife in his home country.
