City GOP cookout Friday
Top Headlines Members, friends of the committee and the public are welcome to join the committee for a summer cookout. The theme is red, white and blue and will include a special "Welcome Home" presentation to member Mark DesLauriers, who has been serving our country overseas. Also, many of the Republican candidates running in this November's election will be attending, including: State Sen. Scott Brown, City Councilor George Ross, a candidate for state representative, Bob Heroux, a candidate for probate court and Jon Rockwood, a candidate for state senate. A "thank you for serving" gift will be given to any members of the Attleboro City Council who attend. About half the council is expected. Families can enjoy a variety of games. The Sun Chronicle never picks up or cares about such obvious "stuff" happening in town, Did they ask who was really invited? Other who serve the city on boards...Who cares about them.
