ATTLEBORO - A woman in her 50s was mugged in the parking lot of Bliss Dairy on Park Street after leaving work late Sunday night.The woman suffered bruises on her face after being struck by her assailants and was treated at the scene by emergency medical technicians, police said. No weapon was shown. The muggers, who were dressed in black and wore handkerchiefs over their faces, fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. The muggers may have escaped in a four-door car, police said. The incident occurred about 10:40 p.m. and is under investigation by Detective Jeffrey Peavey and officers Brian Kelley, John Hynes and James MacDonald. Detective Sgt. Arthur Brillon said one of the muggers was described as a white man, around 22 and about 6-feet 4-inches tall with a slim build. The other mugger was a white man who was shorter than his accomplice. Immediately after the robbery, police combed the East Side where the getaway car was believed to have fled. Police made an arrest but it was unrelated to the mugging.
